Container Gardening on the Patio
Thought that this page could be of interest . Plastic bottles stacked into a bottle tower can be recycled to set up a vertical kitchen garden at home. If any one does it would be most interested if anyone tries it with Tomato plants. Do give feed back if successful or otherwise.
Last Saturday I purchased tomato plant seedlings at the market down near Iceland. They did have others as well, one I think was Celery seedlings, but not sure where to get lettuce plants.
Was in the nursery in the village this morning, they had lots of rather small seedlings, but not lettuce plants. I am giving this idea a go. At the least it will give me nice fresh veg.
Must admit have now watched that video three times and am going to give it a try. Just a question can anyone tell me where the best local place is for buying seedling such as lettuce ect. Think i have seen them possible at the Sunday market, what about the local garden centers. Any advice please?
